22. do you ever worry about public reaction to what you’re writing? how do you get past that?

Oof yeah, but I've got friends I run things by and also I accept that if I tag it, people will either read it or not and that's on them. I slap warnings on things and label my stuff. Sometimes I do fall into the awful "number go up?" mindset right after posting, but I'm writing for me or attacking friends. Getting past that is an exercise in reflection and seeking something else. Want feedback? ask a friend. Want eyes on something? post it and reblog it a few times. Let it settle and bring it back. Put it down and revisit it later, it's not going anywhere and people will find it if they find it. Otherwise it's archived for you! the writer who loves it most.

24. how do you recharge when you’re not feeling creative?

Video games to occupy the hands and eyes, and sometimes brain. And I love poking friends to watch movies or shows, or ask them what books have made them insane lately. I try to look at low energy times as times to absorb and learn rather than beat myself up for not making something to show people.

26. are you able to write with other people around?

I don't really write in voice calls, but I also live with roommates and if I didn't keep writing every time I was interrupted, at least to finish the sentence, I'd never get anything done. But usually no. Although, I am never alone, there are beasts in my house.
